Leadership

Mike brings nearly four decades of expertise in educational leadership to his work, having served in every tier of the system from the classroom to the superintendent’s office. With a background in managing small and large-scale school district operations and strategic planning, Mike has a proven track record of delivering results through policy governance, instructional leadership, and program and facility design. He holds degrees from Oregon State University, The University of Portland, and Washington State University.

Additionally, Mike has worked in construction management for commercial, residential, and educational facilities. He couples this work with boots-on-the ground reality of being a small business owner. Having navigated the unique operational and strategic challenges of schools and owning a small venture, Mike favors relationship focused and wisdom based mentoring.

A Ridgefield local, Mike is a fitness enthusiast who enjoys watersports and spending time with his wife, Erin, and their three grown sons, daughters-in-law, and their growing families.

Mark Hopman combines deep technical expertise with a lifelong commitment to leadership, mentorship, and service. A graduate of Oregon State University in Electrical Engineering, Mark spent 27 years with Intel Corporation, where he led semiconductor test organizations across multiple geographies. His career was defined by developing innovative metrology (ensuring precision and quality control in production) and data-driven strategies, building high-performing global teams, and delivering operational excellence in demanding 24/7 manufacturing environments.

Following his work at Intel, Mark has focused on consulting and community service, lending his experience to both for-profit and non-profit organizations, including ministries within his church. While no longer actively running his martial arts school, he continues to co-manage a successful family real estate business.

Mark lives in Hillsboro with his wife Suzan. Together they enjoy spending time with their three children — all engineering graduates from OSU— along with their growing families.

Founder Story

Founded by lifelong friends Mike and Mark, we bring over 75 years of combined leadership across the public and private sectors. While our backgrounds as an educator and an engineer are diverse, we are united by a shared commitment to organizational growth and excellence.

Our vision wasn't built in a boardroom, but over hundreds of cups of coffee and countless hours swapping stories. It was during these caffeine-fueled sessions, trading ideas on how to better serve our communities, that our dream of a collaborative consultancy took shape.

Our work is driven by three core principles:

  • Providing Value: Being a trusted resource for our partners

  • Service Focus: Helping individuals and organizations grow

  • Outcomes Driven: Building successful collaborative partnerships
